Reef Origin & L&G Submit Planning for County Hall Transformation
Reef Origin are pleased to announce that planning permission has now been submitted for County Hall, Oxford.
Working in partnership with L&G – Asset Management, we are seeking to transform this iconic Grade II* listed building into a 190‑room hotel in the heart of Oxford, creating a new destination that celebrates the building’s heritage.
The plans will transform County Hall into a 190‑bed hotel, complemented by publicly accessible amenities including a restaurant, bar, gallery, and a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views across Oxford’s skyline. The proposals will preserve the Grade II* listed Old County Hall, transforming the former council chamber and coroner’s court into publicly accessible restaurants and a bar, while the 1970s office building will be thoughtfully redeveloped.
